War Cry

I’m sure you have faced a situation in life that caused you to either cry, hurt, be emotionally discombobulated, and yet and still releasing tears did not seem to work.  Have you ever heard people say that crying is good for the soul?  How often have you cried for days about the same situation and after drying your tears you still felt the same way?  I have learned from some of my own personal experience that when crying we must elevate our tears to a war cry.  War crying is no longer an emotional state of crying, it’s a battle; better yet a declaration.  In war crying our demeanor is different, our choice of words are more stern, with power, our tears are no longer tears of disappointment or discomfort; now our tears have a fight behind it.  Have you ever had a moment of crying where you wiped your tears declaring the word of the Lord, praying without ceasing about a situation, or better yet encouraged yourself in the Lord just through a war cry?  I have!  In these moments you are fed up with being emotional, you are now crying out “yes Lord.”  I’m not saying that physically with tears rolling down your cheek must occur before you enter into a war cry, what I’m saying is your words now line up with the word of God.  No longer are you complaining, and murmuring, you have now increased the fire, and turned up the notch, you have entered into your WAR CRY!
