Time to Fight
I don't know about you or where you reside, but here in my home town of Rockford, IL there seems to be a whole lot of Saints of God stricken with cancer. Everywhere we turn, there seems to be someone new coming forward with this 'cancer' report from their doctor. I must say that I'm sick and tired of the devil thinking he can just come in, and run roughshod through our churches. There are at least 4 people, close to me, who are going through some sort of treatment to fight this horrible disease. Too many!
In my church, we are decreeing, and declaring that there will be NO more cancer. We prayed that God would dry up the cancer, and his daughters would come forth whole, in the name of Jesus!
About a year or so ago, a young lady in our church was healed of breast cancer. She is alive and well. Working in ministry and giving God all praise and glory. The enemy thinks he's slick, but he isn't. In case you didn't know this trick, allow me to fill you in... When you are rejoicing for one victory, he tries to 'slip' something else in on you to take you out. Well, thank God for the intercessors! We have to constantly, consistently petition God for His healing, for his divine wholeness.
I know that for most people, cancer seems like a really big monster to defeat. I believe that is part of the problem. When we think we can't win at something, we don't give 100%. So let me help you out today. Cancer, and all other manner of disease is not of God. Knowing that truth should be enough to push us into warfare, knowing that we are already victorious!
Ask yourself these questions before you pray for healing: "Do I believe that God is able to do this"? "Can God heal cancer"? "Can God heal diabetes, high blood pressure, and kidney disease"? If you can answer yes to these questions, then you are well on your way! Start praying knowing that God can, and will heal! Remove all doubt. In this, you must have faith, and doubt cancels faith.
Are you ready to fight?
Come, pray with me...
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we come to you now asking that you first forgive us of our sins. We ask oh God that you would search our hearts and if you find any doubt, any uncertainty, that you would remove it right now. Anything that would challenge our faith, remove it in the name of Jesus. Now God, we ask that you would show yourself strong and mighty. Heal, deliver, and set free from cancer all those who have been stricken. Jehovah Rapha, the one who heals, we decree and declare that we shall live and not die. We decree and declare that no weapon that is formed against us shall prosper. So, anything that is not like you must die. Every illness, all sickness must go, back to the pit of hell where it came from, never to return again. Isaiah 53:4-5 tells us that with your stripes we are healed, so we pray this prayer believing that it is already done, and we thank you now for healing, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. (1 John 5:14-15 NIV)
